Awful thing happened to me this week, my bank account went nil (negative balance) last Wednesday (didn’t notice until Friday, I only check my bank once or twice a week) and each time AdBrite. com (a site that lets you advertise your sites for money) billed me 30 cents (over 100 times in 3 days) I was billed by my bank a $38.00 over charge (even if adbrite only was to bill me 2 cents I still got a $38.00 over charge) for over 100 transactions (all for about $20 total in charges from AdBrite. com) but amounting to thousands of dollars in overcharges from my bank. I am about thousands of dollars in debt and the bank doesn’t care (they did finally help me out after hours of bitchin at them).
I frantically tried to get AdBrite. com to stop charging for a couple days until I got things fixed, but I still have not had a return call or email from AdBrite. com (it now has been 5 days and AdBrite. com will not reply even after I have left several messages. Anytime I have had a problem with AdBrite. com, it takes almost a week to get a response. I couldn’t even pause the ads (through their online service) I was paying for (I have many screenshots of how it would error anytime I tried to stop anything from running, but funny I could edit ads words and stuff without errors or it would let me start a new ad with no issues. I had to go as far as putting a stop payment (well I didn’t but the assistant bank manager did) on all AdBrite. com debits (I feel bad as I do owe them money, I will have to send them a check or moeny order as I will never allow them to use my bank account again as they abuse the charging increments, some banks even charge a service fee for every transaction, usually more than what AdBrite. com wanted), I had asked AdBrite. com many times to make the small incremental billing a lump sum daily and they couldn’t (although they told me it was done and would not happen in tiny charges over and over anymore, partial LIE).
All this caused me symptoms of psychophrenia, I was planning to put every bank in America out of business (cannot say how or what, because you would call the FBI). It even made me have thoughts of suicide as I felt like my whole life and business were in jeopardy.
HORRAY!!!! I am having some difficulties getting all the money back from the bank (I was hoping for about 90% returned), fortunately after talking on the phone with "higher ups" (even got the bank managers home phone number doing a search on Google), but I have probably got about 75% of the over charges dropped so far. At first the bank thought it was ok that they billed me 2 grand overcharges for the 30 dollars adbrite was trying to get from me, but I was not going to accept this answer! Let me tell you though, the bank made me earn that money by making me work and beg. I wish I could mention the bank as I am fairly pleased with the outcome so far, but I do not want to involve their name with this AdBrite. com crap (I only "drag names through the mud" if they deserve it).
Least now I can pay my mortgage and not worry about loosing my home or family....
HERE IS WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THE BANK DIDN’T HELP ME OUT:
It will take me a few months to earn the money that I owe with the income from these sites, but see, I will have to shut the sites down as now there will be no money to pay the cable company (business internet line), domain names and web hosting costs (they are auto deducted from bank). I don’t even know if we will be able to keep up with our mortgage and food costs, my family and I could wind up homeless because of this! If I can’t pay the bills to run the sites, I cannot earn any more money to pay off the debts (I am disabled guy who got off disability 5 years ago to try to make it on his own). I cannot pay the mortgage, I will lose my house, my family will have to move into AdBrite. com’s California office to live!

Still have not recieved any calls from WWW.adbrite.COM (GRRRR), I have left about 30 messages now with them since last thursday (almost a week ago).

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS BUSINESS IF YOU EXPECT BUSINESS LIKE SERVICES!
